I saw your product in a Petshop called Petmasters in Boksburg(east rand of Johannesburg)This stuff is expensive but it works well.I used it to start up my newly build 2500 liter koi pond.I stocked the pond with seven koi and it has been running without a hassel for 5 months.The koi is very active and grow as if they are on steroids.None has been lost to death or showed signs of poor health.The water has stayed cristal clear and I will change 20% of the water every second week or so.Water quality tests done shows pH at 7.8 ,nitrites 0 ,nitrate 0 and ammoinia 0.I would like to ask one question.

HOW MUCH HEALTH TREATMENT AND GENERAL TREATMENT SHOULD I ADD TO THE POND AFTER EACH WATER CHANGE? I HAVE BEEN ADDING HEALTH AND GENERAL TREATMENT TO THE DESCRIBED AMMOUNT FOR 2500 LITER EACH TIME.

Reading through your product info it seems as if I should use less health treatment.(20% water change = 20% health treatment)or am I wrong.Never the less, this product work so well that my Dad also started building the perfect replica of my pond at his house.I went and bought him a organic aqua starter kit for fathers day just to be sure he has the same sucsess I have with my pond.He thinks my pond desine (did lot of research before building the pond .bio filter used = 18 000 liter,pond capacity turn over = six times in twenty four hours)is the key factor to the success I have.The design was well rescearched and perfectly constructed but without Organic Aqua it would have taken the large filtration system 8 to 12 weeks to mature.Surely I would have lost some koi,none of them were bigger than 100 mm they were all babies.

I was introduced to Organic Aqua remarkable natural products approximately two years ago.

? B-bac & (2) General Treatment

On 2 June 2002 my entire fish stock was wiped out, due to smoke caused by a fire at six adjacent shops. This was of great concern to me, not only because of financial loss; my tanks (48) in total, had to be cleaned and restocked as soon as possible. A new closed aquatic system will pass through a period characterized by elevated levels of ammonia and nitrates. This run in or conditioning period ends when nitrates disappear from the aquarium. The entire conditioning period may last from four to twelve weeks. I did not have this time on hand as my fish sales had to continue almost immediately to generate the necessary income to ensure financial survival.

At this stage I took the opportunity to test out B-bac (nitrifying bacteria) and General Treatment (a natural detoxifying remedy). The two products were placed into all the aquariums during the night. The following morning all forty-six tanks were fully stocked with fish. I encountered no deaths; and in testing no ammonia and nitrates were detected, which proved to me that conditioning was immediate.

Since that time Pet Warehouse has been continuously using these products, B-bac for new tanks and General Treatment for maintaining the tanks toxin free (Ammonia and Nitrates). Fish mortalities have decreased by 80 %.

General Treatment was found to settle out impurities and to render water odorless which is very useful in aquariums, Koi ponds and dams.

(3) Health Treament

Shortly afterwards Health Treatment was introduced into my tanks for treatment against white spot (ick), microscopic parasites (Protozoa). Distributed world wide, it affects all fresh water fish and in aquarium conditions is very virulent. The parasite lives just under epithelium which eventually breaks through and drops to the bottom of the aquarium, where it attaches to objects such as gravel or tubing. With the inclusion of Health Treatment into the aquariums, I have managed to kill and control these parasites. Health Treatment is a natural remedy and has no adverse affect on fishes or plants as other chemical remedies sometimes do. I have found that Health Treatment does not leach out in the filtration process and remains in the water for several months, unlike chemicals.

(4) Marine Health Treatment

One of the biggest advantages I have found in this product is the treatment of white spot (ick) in my marine, reef aquarium. Very few chemical remedies can be used in a reef aquarium, as they are very harmful to living corals and invertebrates, some very expensive fish have been saved from certain deaths with this treatment.

? Marine General Treatment

This product I have tested very extensively in marine aquariums. Prior to using this product I had a problem with one of my canister filters which did not operate, due to a bad electrical connection. Unknown to me, the filter had been off for a period of several days and on starting up again, the filter pumped toxic waste into the aquarium, killing all my fish within one hour.

Experiments in another marine aquarium with the addition of Marine General Treatment proved that starting up two canister filters after standing for ten days, neutralized the toxic waste within 30 to 45 minutes, resulting in no loss of fish lives.

Marine General Treatment was also tested on miniature marine reef aquariums without filtration for six months without any fatalities, an achievement never accomplished before. Marine aquariums normally require a very complex filtration system.

I would like to congratulate you and Organic Aqua on the superb product you have brought out for the fish hobbyists in helping to mature the tanks in a matter of days.

I have used this product not only for the tropical tanks but also on marine tanks very successfully.

I was nervous to try this product initially until Luke (Organic Aqua) gave me a sample . I was totally blown away with the results. The tank was a 600 L, stocked with approximately 40 Malawi fish , never got cloudy water or any symptoms of distress shown by fish in a new fish tank.

Under normal circumstances one would never be able to do this.

We were introduced to this product during April 2004.

A 20litre aquarium was set-up with a very poorly functioning corner filter and air stone. Immediately after setting up the aquarium 15 Oranda goldfish (approx 4 -6cm) were introduced to the aquarium.

These fish were over fed 3 times daily with a very poor quality fish flake.

The tank was also placed where it received direct light / sunlight during the whole day.

The 20% water change was carried monthly and when the tank was broken up 3 months later, we only lost one fish during this whole time.

We were satisfied with the product and we could recommend this to all our customers, especially those setting up aquariums for the first time.

Now we could also sell fish to customers when they purchased a new tank instead of allowing a proper run-in period, thus increasing sales and also cutting down on first time purchase mortalities of fish.

Because this product is 100% organic it also appeals to more customers, which are always weary of chemicals.

I have been using your products for more than a year, both in the shop and selling them to my clients, with great success.

I have personally seen the tremendous difference between using the normal anti chlorine medication on a new tank, and the organic products. I received a new shipment of approx. 100 goldfish, which had to go into a tank which I had just drained and put new water in.

I know, that normally the mortality rate with that number of fish in new water would have been very high, and using the Organic products I did not lose one fish nor was there any ammonia build up.

We also install and maintain koi ponds, and have used the products there as well, with the same success rate. Cold water fish are not as hardy as people think, and yet they respond very well to being in water with was treated with the Organic products.

I can truthfully say that the difference between the normal medication and the Organic products is quite remarkable and well worth changing to.
